Beautiful
We won an overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay here after attending a wedding fayre. Glen Clova is just beautiful, with stunning views and the hotel is lovely. The room was amazing, the staff are so friendly, kind and they all went above and beyond for us. A special thanks to the waiters and waitresses who served us at dinner and breakfast, who were so hardworking and to Vhairi who made us feel so welcome. We also got a complimentary bottle of wine, which was lovely. The food was so yummy and there was a great atmosphere in the bar! Highly recommend! Thank you so much for a lovely weekend, we’ll definitely be back.😊
Amazing stay!!!
Had the most amazing and romantic stays with my partner for our first holiday! Lodges were amazing and staff down at the hotel were really accommodating! hot tubs were so nice and felt very private! Has amazing views and such nice walks just behind the lodges and also the two Munros down the road ! Went to the hotel for one night for our final meal and it was super yummy!!!! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back !!!
Just nice and relaxing, perfect night away
My partner and I stayed here in the hotel and it was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and happy to help! The food was amazing and large portions! The rooms are nice and clean! Will definitely be making this a yearly visit.
Roaring fire and food
Stayed for 1 night in the hotel (not lodges). Beautiful location, very comfortable room with glorious view. Dining room closed so had dinner in the Bothy, by a roaring fire. Excellent food and real ale served from the bar. Friendly and attentive staff.
Excellent
Lovely hotel, comfy modern rooms, beautiful food in the bar area, excellent breakfast and very well located for exploring the Cairngorms, every member of staff we encountered were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Overall fantastic, would definitely stay here again.
An absolute dream of a family holiday
This place is heaven. We stayed in Corrie Lodge and were delighted to find a proper sauna as well as a hot tub waiting for us. The lodge itself is beautifully appointed and well equipped. Roaring modern fire that lights so quickly, made each evening so cosy. Underfloor heating meant we were kept warm all night after days exploring the incredible walks and snow sledding with our girls. I am going to miss waking up to this place, inner peace is waiting for you. The bar and restaurant serves really yummy breakfast, lunch and dinner, the staff were so welcoming and in particular to our small girls – they have had a blast and been spoilt happy. They even made the 10 mile hike to Corrie Fee which is incredible, it was snow covered and Disney-esque. Thank you Glen Clova, it has been a dream.
Perfect weekend retreat
We stayed in one of the one bedroom lodges with hot tub, it was absolutely amazing. The lodge was absolutely stunning, spotless and perfect in every way, from the hot tub, the sauna in the en suite and the log burning stove not to mention possibly the comfiest bed I have slept in for a very long time. The bar is small but lovely, it’s quaint and has a homely warm atmosphere and you can’t fault the staff at all who all had a great humour and nothing was too much to ask. We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try the food but that leaves the perfect excuse to go again.
Lovely hotel in a perfect place
We were staying in the area for a week and decided to book an overnight stay for my wife’s birthday. It’s a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, a really cosy bar area and the brandy bothy where you can eat and take your dog. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We stayed in a steading room which are dog friendly, the room was immaculately clean and very warm and cosy. Breakfast was also excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great hotel , great rural location
Just back from an overnight stay , lovely little hotel , cosy with beautiful scenery and great walks close by. We stayed in a steading room which was very clean and comfortable. Well stocked bar and bar staff were friendly and attentive . Food was lovely. Overall very reasonable. All staff were very friendly including the manager who was very visible . A great hotel , we will definitely return
One of most beautiful places we’ve been!
Just back from a fantastic 4 night stay in a hideaway lodge. The lodge is beautiful, clean, kitted out with everything you could need, Wifi is really good and managed to stream Prime with no problems. Hot tub was spotless. Bed was really comfy and the apartment was nice and cosy without being stuffy. Hotel bar & food were lovely too. Brilliant menu choices, quality of food spot on ate there 3 nights and enjoyed it every time. Beer was good too! Service was amazing, everyone is really friendly and helpful.
