There are plenty of options when it comes to wedding ceremony venues at Clova. Choose to say your vows in our wedding barn, nearby Clova Kirk, or out in the glorious countryside of the Angus Glens. Then take a slow stroll and have the breathtaking scenery of Glen Clova and Glen Doll as the backdrop for your photographs. Our staff will then look after you as you celebrate with family and friends into the night. We cater for small, intimate weddings up to larger weddings with up to 150 guests. We can also offer accommodation for up to 88 across our hotel, steading rooms, luxury lodges and elegant houses. Please contact us to talk through your requirements. Clova Community Kirk

Approximately 100 yards from our hotel is the simple, yet beautiful Clova Community Trust Kirk. There has been a kirk at this location for several centuries, and this incarnation of the kirk dates from 1860. The kirk is non-denominational, which means you have the choice of a religious or humanist service. As the Kirk is independent, you must book your ceremony directly with the Kirk Trust and we can assist you with details of who to contact. Many of our couples choose to walk down to the kirk to the sound of the bagpipes. The kirk holds up to 120 people.

Outdoor Wedding

In Scotland, you can legally get married outdoors at a location of your choice, so you can opt for one of the beautiful locations around us. Corrie Fee is a dramatic backdrop for your ceremony, as is Loch Brandy. Both of these locations do require a certain level of fitness and may not be ideal for any family or friends with mobility issues. Another option is to have the ceremony by our own loch, Loch Heath. It’s just under a mile from our hotel, but all on easy walking surfaces. If you’d prefer something closer, you can get married rustic style in our field just across from the hotel.

At Glen Clova Hotel

You can also choose to hold your ceremony in the Loch Wharral Suite at our hotel. Within our hotel, you can opt for a more traditional civil ceremony or a humanist service. We can seat up to 40 people in this suite. We also have a lovely rustic wedding barn with magical views of the Scottish glens with an outdoor area which lends itself perfectly to a more alfresco style of wedding, which can seat up to 150.

We won an overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay here after attending a wedding fayre. Glen Clova is just beautiful, with stunning views and the hotel is lovely. The room was amazing, the staff are so friendly, kind and they all went above and beyond for us.
